Wipe with a soft dry cloth. For marks, a barely damp cloth and nothing more.
No chemical cleaners, solvents or baby wipes. They strip the finish and leave a pale patch that does not come back.
Condition with a neutral leather balm two or three times a year, used sparingly.
Keep it away from radiators and direct sun. Heat dries the hide and the colour goes with it.
Store it part-filled rather than flat under weight. Leather darkens as it ages — that is the hide, not a fault.
