Brush with a soft suede brush, always in one direction, once the shoe is completely dry.
Lift marks with a suede eraser before you reach for anything wet. Water and soap flatten the nap and leave a ring that stays.
Never use a tumble dryer, hairdryer or radiator. Heat shrinks the hide and hardens the sole.
Dry them at room temperature, away from sun, with paper inside to hold the shape.
Store somewhere dry, and give them a day off between wears.
