The Lucca Men's Burnished Lace-Up Derby Shoe is the dress shoe that works hard. A polished upper is hand-brushed to a burnished finish, deeper at the toe and heel, on a clean open-lace derby shape that is easier to wear than an oxford. Navy suit on Monday, grey flannels and a knit on Friday.

Wipe the upper with a soft damp cloth after wear, then let them dry at room temperature.
Buff with a dry cloth to bring back the burnished finish. A neutral cream works on the microfibre upper; skip wax and solvent cleaners.
Never use a tumble dryer, hairdryer or radiator. Heat warps the upper and lifts the sole.
Keep them on a shoe tree or stuffed with paper so the shape holds.
Store dry, and give them a day off between wears.
